Raghav earned his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University where he worked on graphene nanomaterials for cellular-scale bioelectronics. He also holds an M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.Tech. in Biological Sciences and Bioengineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Kanpur).
Before joining Texas A&M, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Neurology and the Center of Neuroengineering & Therapeutics at the University of Pennsylvania. There he developed implantable and wearable neurotechnologies to improve neurological disease care.
His research has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Young Investigator Award from the Tourette Association of America, the Rising Star in Bioengineering from Princeton University, the Emerging Leader in Neuroscience from Weill Cornell Medicine, and the Best Doctoral Dissertation Award in Materials Science and Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University.
